Planning & Zoning
The Planning and Zoning Department provides various services related to the physical development of the City.
Please note the Planning and Zoning Department’s new policy in regard to Development Application Submittals and/or Re-submittals: Effective June 30, 2017 a cut off time of Friday at Noon will be in place for any submittals and/or re-submittals.
Any packets received after this time will not be stamped/logged in until the following business day.
The Planning Division guides growth and development to protect the quality of life within the City of Palm Beach Gardens. It ensures uniform enforcement of city codes and regulations which provide guidance and assistance to the public, the development community, and other governmental agencies regarding requirements of the City's adopted plans, development codes, and land use regulations.
Development Compliance & Zoning
The Development Compliance and Zoning staff is charged with monitoring all development for compliance with the City’s Land Development Regulations (LDRs), Chapter 78 in the Code of Ordinances, and Development Orders for all development projects in the City.
Forestry provides a wide range of services to the residents of Palm Beach Gardens. Environmental and natural areas, development, landscaping, and wildlife are all important items that distinguish the City from usual urban settings.
Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
The Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Division supports city activities relating to mapping and geographic data. Enterprise GIS organizes the collective system into one comprehensive data resource in order to distribute the information to staff and citizens in a user-friendly interface on the website.
